Mondello, Sicily... It's a kind of magic!

Mondello, a beautiful fishing village at the foot of Monte Pellegrino, reachable through the Parco della Favorita along a charming tree-lined avenue that connects it to the center of Palermo, which is only few kilometers away. Originally just a fishing village, it has been gradually turned into a nice town, very popular destination for tourists from around the world. It overlooks a beautiful sandy bay with typical tropical colors that characterize this Mediterranean area.

Small handicraft shops, restaurants, yacht clubs and a bathhouse, the Charleston, built onto the sea, surround a beautiful landscape with typical Mediterranean climate.
In summer the temperature can reach 35 degrees, but it is pleasant throughout the year, so much that as early as April, the beaches are already under assault by both tourists and locals, for the most young, sunbathing and relaxing, and enjoying a landscape of rare beauty and a unique atmosphere.
At night, locals love strolling around the square in Mondello, having a drink or enjoying an ice cream in the old "Renato" kiosk, well known and loved not only by locals, for his matchless tasty desserts.
A mermaid-shaped fountain adorns the center of Mondello, offering at the same time a place to sit on to enjoy a short break, to enjoy the wonderful gulf, one of the most interesting wonders to behold in this corner of northern Sicily.
